Streaks of Violet and Indigo

I just finished re-reading Ultraviolet by R.J. Anderson so I could check out Quicksilver.  The author actually has a DA account called Synaesthete I believe.

Anyway, this is supposed to be the kiss between Faraday & Alison.  I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.  While reading it I realized Faraday and Carlos (From Nightvale) remind me of each other.   Not necessarily their personalities, but their looks and devotion to their fields.
